Shari's report on Gas in Guerrero Negro and offer of services

shari - 9-5-2006 at 09:26 PM

We just got internet back up today and I'm so sorry for all of you who suffered in John's wet path. Here in Asuncion, we had about 45 knots of wind and NO RAIN.

Yesterday we went to Guerreron Negro for supplies and learned that the road was still closed southbound. There was gas in Guerrero Negro and cel service is back up now. Very little traffic on the highway. Vizcaino also has gas.

If anyone needs a place to stay, we shall open all our doors to relief workers and of course anyone needing refuge. If pilots need to land here, we could take people to Mulege in our 4X4 Suburban, as the roads clear. Sometimes it's good to just get away from it all for a bit to clear your head and here we have food, water, gas etc and would be more than happy to help whoever we can. Our phone number is 615-160-0289

I would like to heartily commend all of you who have banded together to help in this tragedy, I'm so proud of you all.
