Where The Old West Never Died

I know that a few of you have been waiting for this. The book 'Where the Old West Never Died' has been republished. The front dust cover and overview are posted here. The book was published in 1968 and never printed again, until now. It’s been out of print far too long. This is a Soft-cover or paperback version, not the original hardback. It contains all of the picture and text from the original book and looks as near as possible to the 1968 version. We will be offering it for sale at both of the Meling guest ranches or from me. If you would like to buy a copy of this book please email me at chuckmccullough@adelphia.net. The total cost of the book is $20, if mailed to a US address. Please send your check or money order to:

Chuck McCullough
511 Madrid St.
Hemet, CA 92545

Please include the address that you’d like the book mailed to.

And Number 2.

Well, I have TWO original copies of that book------

------and I heartily recommend it, like David K says. It is a pretty comprehensive book of the history of the families involved in the Meling Ranch operation up until it's publishing date of 1968----------a great read, and I spent a lot more than $20 to get my first copy about 9 years ago. Second copy was inherited.

You're lucky it took me 38 years to get a copy. I had to buy the Copyright and print the book to do it.

I have updated the posting at the top of this string to include the following information: "This is a Soft-cover or paperback version, not the original hardback. It contains all of the picture and text from the original book and looks as near as possible to the 1968 version. "
