Unfortunately the puppy we brought back from TS last month has a raging case of
Erlichia!!! The new owner has been spending a fortune at a vet who knows nothing
about the disease. The puppy is being treated with Doxycycline but here in Canada
we cannot get it li liquid form. Dulce is 4 lbs and so her new family is trying to get
1/8th of a tablet into her!!!!
My question, is there anyone who could find out what the proper dosage would be
for a 4 lb puppy that has a very high antibody titre (raging case!) I have found a
compounding pharmacy that will compound the medication but we need to make sure
she is getting the proper dosage.
If anyone who is in La Paz reads this, I am sure Dr Thomas Rodriqez 011-52-612-1225662. would help. Tell him it is one of Janet and Maryann's
rescues!!!

Dr Tomas was not in. His partner said, 200 mg, divided. In other words, 100 mg twice a day
