Moving relief stuff down

Sharksbaja - 9-8-2006 at 01:59 PM

Someone posted that they are turning back donated resources at the border .
Can anyone comfirm this? I would find it a bit odd that they would because they can levy a fee on stuff like that.

I suppose if you showed them your Mexican license/FM3 it
could help get you through.

Are many resources coming in by private vehicle to Mulege? Bruce?

we haven't received anything yet from the U.S. but there should not be a problem. just declare the items pay tax and go.

I think it would be better for most to stop at costco or home depot in Ensenada and buy the things there and come down.

Donations

Are they taxes like general mechandise? Because there is no resale value per se, does that make a diff?

I mean like , what dollar figure would be appropriate/? Wholesale? Used? Free?
See my point? Or is it just fair market value?

Gotta run I'm outta here......
