A couple of weeks ago I asked about bus service out to the east cape and Fishin rich was able to give me the following info. Maybe it'll help you out.

"You will have to walk from the airport to mex-1 as no cab will give you a ride for such a short distance. They are after the long haul fairs unless
someone will let you hop in. The bus's run every two hours and everyone hangs out under the bridge in the shade waiting. It will cost 70 pesos for the
