Does anyone know the condition of the road to San Javier and the one to Agua Verde?
Thanks

I would guess the Agua Verde road is still closed. After Marty it took a couple of months to get it open, and I drove down there the following March
and it was still a mess (all of the vados were washed out). I don't know how much rain they got from John, but it was probably enough to knock it
out again.Cypress - 9-15-2006 at 03:07 PM

Paula drove to San Javier (from Loreto) yesterday, says the road is just fine. She drives a Honda CRV, maybe she'll post later.
Lots of water up there, lots of frogs! But watch out for racers; part of the road is on the Baja 1000 course.DianaT - 11-22-2006 at 03:50 PM
Thanks Don for the answer. We were hoping to be down there by now and we want to return to both places---but it may be while before we can leave now.
Anyone been to Aqua Verde recently?
Thanks

Wait a few months and you will be able to drive half way to San Javier on pavement.....DianaT - 11-22-2006 at 05:11 PM

That's interesting. When we drove up there in Jan of 2005, the road was in good shape---I did the driving on the way up, and I'm a wuss. We want to
return and spend more time.
Guess they are going to continue to pave more roads.
