Just inherited a nice trailer from a friend and would like to put it into a secure trailer park north or south of Rosarito. Would use it just to get
out of town now and then, any suggestions and ballpark on how much a month it would cost me, Thanks

Wow. you are looking at some real work on that.
Trying to find a place can be tough, and expensive. I have seen places with the purchase of the lot, and then the " Maintenance fees " of 300 to 400$
a month.
And then being safe. Un attended is the hard part. To many eyes watch the commings and goings.
It would help to know the size, and then maybe I can offer a few ideas. I know of a park here in North Rosarito beach, near Pemex, but not sure what
size they can take. I will check for you.
post here, and if I dont reply right away, mail me at info@quepasabaja.com

Yes, there are a couple of tourist camp parks north of Pemex. I lived in one of them for while. They're pretty nice but wall to wall full. Around
seven years ago, my friend bought a tear-down trailer just to get the space. The price was back rent ---- 7000 bucks, and he was lucky to get it.
There has been a lot of development in that area, maybe quepasa has something else in mind. But, whatever you do, dont leave it in an isolated place.
You are inviting disaster.

When you say "south of Rosarito", how far south to you mean? There are a couple nice camps 10 miles or south of Ensenada in the the Punta Banda/Cantu
area. Dennis, I'm thinking of Pam's Hacienda or El Refugio. What do you think?

I thought Pams Hacienda was a bed and breakfast.
Im not familiar with El Refugio. Since going that far south doesn't bother you, I would go over the hill to La Bufadora. That's where I started 30
years ago and it is still my top pick in the area. Lots of space but rustico.
There are places in this area where I would advise against so, if you get down here to search it out, get ahold of me U2U and I'll give you my
opinion.
By the way, we're actually closer to 20 miles from Ensenada, not that it matters to one with a Baja attitude.

The trailer is 28ft long Iam not interested in buying a lot, just a place to pay a monthly rent on. I would consider going as far South as Las Salinas
thanks

Bernie has mentioned a trailer park at La Salina. Maybe he can drop by and fill you in.

Pescador has some spots for rent but I wouldn't count on them for long term. They are in the middle of a nasty court fight over title and I expect
that they will kick everyone out after settlement. So....lease a spot but don't make any improvements you couldn't afford to walk away from.
(behind the El Pescador restaurant just North of Puerto Nuevo.)

Thanks Dave, anyone else have any idea's

the rents are not cheap, usually in the 300 a month range, and they will not worry about the safety fo your MH. So....
