I heard that the roads in and around TS are almost impassable (is that a word?) due to all the rain lately. Apparently getting to La Playita is
impossible.
Does anyone have any info? Will be arriving mid Oct with son and friends who will be
looking for surf!!!!

I cannot confirm as my contact is in Hawaii. They will be going home soon so I will know then if you haven't heard by then. My spell checker says
impassable is a word.

I live in Todos Santos on the road to La Pastora, which is the road I think you are referring. It was hit by the two storms we have had and has not
really been repaired completely but is it definately passable by regular cars. Some of the vadas contain alot of soft sand, some of the road is one
lane... but the traffic seems to get thru. I just came from La Pastora, this evening, and there is alot of dried mud/sand runoff on the road just
before the beach and at the entrance to the beach... but you can get there.
By mid october who knows... that is many days away... if the surf is good.. they will get there.

Thanks Shimmer...I did mean La Pastora. You are right...if the surf is good they will
get there! Just hope the old Explorer doesn't shake apart!!! That road is not great in
the best of times!
