Re: a trip to BOLA at the end of the month;
What time does the IM office at TJ open and is there one at the Otay crossing?
We'll be going across on a Monday morning and I want to get a tourist card just to be on the safe side.

I believe the IM office and the bank at the San Ysidro crossing is open 24/7. We have gotten our visas there several times, usually very early in the
AM. Last one was last October for a Mulege trip. As you approach the border stay to the far right, even right of the declarations lanes. Park and
then walk through an opening between the buildings, turn right and head back towards the gate. The office is on your left just before the gate. If
it's early and the lights are off check closely they might have 'em off to watch TV. Fill out the forms and then return to the bank, right where you
parked. Sometimes you have to knock on the window to wake the teller. Pay your money, get your card stamped and walk back to IM so they can then
stamp your card. After that you're good to go. Unless they want you to push the button next to the little guard shack and you get the red light.
