Just thought I would see if I could still use this darn contraption after 12 days in the mountains (both La Lagunas and Gigantes) checking out caves,
dead indians, bamboo, Tilapia and eating the freshest of foods including 3 days of Machaca de Venado. Awesome. Then Carol flew down and we got some
snorkeling and underwater pictures taken at some very remote beaches that rattled her somethings off getting to them.
Spent one night stuck in mud until I hiked and found some soldiers to pull us out the next day. Always something!
It's been windy down here for the last four days so I am now heading back south to get some more bamboo and meet BedoCrafts.
Incredible trip with photos to follow when I get back to Rosarito. Hope all of you are well and being peaceful.
Skeet, now would be a really good time for some vibora hunting, they're everywhere in them thar hills. At the beach too. Hasta luego para
nosotros. J.R.
PS, had a great chat with Don Jimmy and Steve. He was on his way north for maintenance and I am assuming he is now back on his front porch looking
healthy and eating smoked salmon. Thanks for that one Jimmy!
