Had to have a beer at El Barril on the beach. We were looking for a good shell beach but did not find it here.

L.A. BAY TO SAN FRANCISQUITO road is mostly the Baja 1000 race course... expect 100+ MPH for the V-8s on NOV. 16!

We were going to watch at the Sulfur Mine (RM 200), but have volunteered (or were drafted?) to help racers...
WE are going to work with 'TheSquarecircle' doing RACE communications for TEAM BAJA PITS & TEAM LOCOS MOCOS who together have 20 PITS for the 1000
(see http://www.bajapits.com )...
We will be at PIT #7 which is EL CRUCERO (Race Mile 328), 13.4 miles north of the L.A. Bay Junction, along Hwy. 1.
After the race, Friday AM, we may go to L.A. Bay for a day then head north via Coco's, Gonzaga, and Bahia Santa Maria to see friends...
The Price Is Right

Price was 20 $ per person. The beds are foam pads on cots. We were there on a Sat night and they had a full house and more. I think there were five
or six planes. Itwas much nicer on the weeknight when we had the place to are self.
Very nice beach

Here goes the try thanks to David K who re sized the photo. It is not as good as some of the others but it gives a great view of the bay on the other
side of the point. (Ensanada Las Palaomas)
