How do you pronounce Vizcaino? Another one that I have had difficulty with is Maneadero.

man-eh-uh-dare-o
The accent should be over the second to last vowel, unless otherwise indicated by an accent mark.Capt. George - 10-9-2006 at 08:35 PM

ever swim in da East river amigo? You just might!bajarich - 10-9-2006 at 09:45 PM
An "r" in the middle of the word gets a slight roll, while an "R" beginning a word is rolled even more. A "rr" gets a real roll. I just learned
that in my spanish class last week. I just wish I could do it.Bob H - 10-10-2006 at 09:15 AM

Sometimes I've hear it as:
veez-KAI-no
other times:
veez-kai-EEE-no
I prefer the second pronounciation and I think it's the correct one.bajajudy - 10-10-2006 at 04:36 PM

The second one is correct but the local people roll right over the "EEE" so you can barely hear it.comitan - 10-10-2006 at 05:42 PM
