Picture hosting sites

Hi,

I have been using tinypic for hosting photos for posting on forums. However, it is often overloaded and won't work well.

What other hosting sites do others use?

Thanks
Diane

The problem I had with photobucket was that it was very limited with the number of photos, so when I posted new ones, old ones were lost??? Maybe I was doing something wrong. Or does one have to pay to have more????

Thanks
Diane

I eventually paid the $18/year and got the premium membership but as I recall I had several hundred photos stored in my albums before I did that.

I use pixpond.com and find it quick and easy uploading

Photobucket gets my vote

When I used PixPond, the photos had to be reloaded every three weeks or they would vanish into neverneverland. I've had some in photobucket now for several months and they are still there.

Thanks for the replies---maybe I will quit being so cheap and pay the $18.00 to photobucket.:yes:

PHOTO HOSTING SITES...

Hey jdtrotter,

I've been using VILLAGE PHOTOS to host my photos for posting on photos on Nomads. I tried a couple of others and it seemed easiest to use. It's FREE, photos are easy to load from your computer onto theirs, and, it's also easy to reduce the KB's so that your photos are not TOO large for posting. Plus...It's easy to copy the URL for posting on Nomads

They also host albums for posting pics.

Here's the address...

The Free Photobucket gets my vote too.

I have had some photos in there for well over a year.
None of mine have been deleted when I upload new ones, like happened to jdtrotter
And I don't have to reload every couple weeks, like CasaManzana said happened to them on pixpond.

I've had photos up on Kodak (used to be Ofoto) for about a year - also a free site
