He says he has nice used pangas for sale also...

just call him to look at his boats

Bruce R Leech - 10-15-2006 at 07:16 AM

that is a nice Boat but the trailer looks way to Light for the Boat.

vandenberg - 10-15-2006 at 08:09 AM

Didn't want to say that, but thought the same thing.

DENNIS - 10-15-2006 at 08:19 AM

What is that 25K? The price?

Cypress - 10-15-2006 at 12:20 PM

Bruce has an eye for detail!:) The trailer does look a little small.:light: The boat sticks out about 3' past the trailer.:( For $25k they ought to throw in a double axle trailer that fit's the boat.:?:

Summanus - 10-15-2006 at 01:13 PM

Does your eye for detail tell you that it is the 'boat' that is for sale?...nothing I could read in the post said anything about a 'trailer'.;)

Surely every boat ad states whether the boat comes with a trailer or not...and I have to tell you my bathroom library is full of boat ads.:smug:

Not that long ago that trailer would have been the best that one could hope for in these parts. I would not discount it too much these days, either. Looks adequate enough to get from home to the ramp. When you trailer it back home to Kalifornia or Iowa you can always get a bigger one.

But...like Dennis Miller often says...."I could be wrong."

Al G - 10-15-2006 at 01:18 PM

It appears to maybe 20' and without trailer 25K?
I admit knowing little on pricing, but that shocks me.

Summanus - 10-15-2006 at 01:26 PM

Honda engine = $10,000 minimum if in good shape/low hours
Trailer (if included) = $1500-$2000 max.

Boat itself = $13,000 - $15,000. Not a bad price at all, I wouldn't think. AND...it is in Baja already. That is worth a lot of time and expense.

Everyone looks at things differently, I know. they did not give us much to go on so what I think is meaningless.
75 hp motor (NEW) $8500
18-20' Boat (NEW) $11-12,000...No electronics...Bimei set to for back, graphics ?????
Trailer.....I would not give $200 for that thing.

Well i am showing how little I know about boats and Summanus... maybe right. I guess I am hoping not.

Summanus - 10-15-2006 at 02:28 PM

I am never right 100% of the time, Al. The motor may indeed be a small 75hp, I cannot tell from the photo...but in that case the boat may be a little underpowered. I had assumed it to be a Honda from 115 -225 hp.

The trailer is only worth what the market will bear...and while in this case I agree that it is not a quality unit, it is in Baja.

The bimini set more aft allows for free-style casting on the foredeck...a must for me when in the dorado paddies.

Whatever the case, talking about boats is always good fun. ;D

Boy, do I agree...Sorta Baja dreaming. I can not buy anyway, because I am stuck with my tin until I get settled there. Anorther year max. Where are your dorado paddies:lol:

Bob and Susan - 10-15-2006 at 07:30 PM

i think he said the moter was a 150hp...but could be wrong...

could be a 115 but...

it would use way less gas than my 200hp 2 cycle and way more quiet!!!

dorado yesterday was just off the point...you could see land easily...

bait was just in front of the Mulege lighthouse

Skeet/Loreto - 10-16-2006 at 04:45 AM

The Hull appears to have been built with the Larger than necessary Motor attached.
Bob is that not a "Sinola Dope Hauling Hull" with the Consoul Added??

Skeet

Diver - 10-16-2006 at 05:36 AM

When I bought this boat, I had the same thoughts.
26' Hull with 300 V8 outboard ??

Actually, It's the best boat I ever owned.
Guess who was always first to the fishing and dive spots ??

Bob and Susan - 10-16-2006 at 04:50 PM

i'm not too familar with pangas...

i need a bathroom for susan:lol:

Skeet/Loreto - 10-19-2006 at 12:09 PM

Bob; Owning and using a Panga for 27 years on the Sea there was never any problems with the ladies!
Just have them "Hang it over the Side"! When they are finished just Dunk it a couple of times for a Nice Rinse!!

Most of the Ladies I have had in my Panga Loved it!!!

DRIP- DRY

DENNIS - 10-19-2006 at 12:21 PM

If I were with a woman who could, as you put it Skeet, dunk it a couple of times for a nice rinse, I would be suggesting a gender test.

bajaguy - 10-19-2006 at 12:23 PM

This is gonna get ugly real quick

Bruce R Leech - 10-19-2006 at 01:10 PM

how about the guys can they dunk.

Al G - 10-19-2006 at 01:17 PM

BRUCE!!! You should know the answer to that.:lol::lol:

Cypress - 10-19-2006 at 01:22 PM

For $25k they ought to provide a built-in blow dry.;):tumble:

Bruce R Leech - 10-19-2006 at 01:26 PM

Ladies used a bucket on my boat but I did have a curtain.

DENNIS - 10-19-2006 at 02:16 PM

Cypress ....

Do you have any idea how I had to restrain myself after your post?

It wasn't easy but it made me a better person. Thanks

Cypress - 10-19-2006 at 02:39 PM

Dennis, You're welcome.:D
