For some reason I have always liked "pardoneme" said softly in passing.
I love the lilt of "Avia Bien Amigo", sweet.
I was overjoyed to learn the word "banyo", at a time of real necessity.
There is something midly conspiratorial about "simpatico", no?

I have also stood baffled in the face of the hand flopping like a boated dorado that stands for directions like, "directo eya in la skina" as it
traces some unseen mental map in the mind of the poor person confronted by someone asking for directions to some place they have never been but feel
to proud to say they don't know.
And one of my favorites was the Cheverlet named "Nova" which could not be sold in Mexico cause "No Va" meant it wouldn't run, or "it's got no juice"
as in "It's got no Va! man" as one would describe a 56 Rambler.

I still get an inward eighth grade giggle out of the three meanings of *pero* depending upon pronunciation. Maybe its just me.
