Since there are hundreds of billions of dollars at stake here the commercial fishing industry is not going to go away quietly. They have tried to
slip this in by way of payoffs countless times. If you care about fishing, the Sea of Cortez, let the regulators know NOW. If we don't draw the line
here and now plan for a big fishing gear yardsale in the near future.

Longlines and drift gillnets in the Sea of Cortez. That will impact dorado and billfish populations, and sea turtles. And also the "target species,"
sharks, which seem to be pretty scarce these days.
