Ok, a lot of things happening lately so is it safe for Americans to remain??? I and my friends have traveled a lot in Mexico over the past 30 years
but they and others are really concerned lately. I have seen very little of were tourists or Americans have been harmed in Mexico over this unrest
but I have had friends return and are waiting it out before going back, so what's the feeling about "Is It Safe?"

Whats happening in southern Mexico might as well be in Guatemala. Baja and the rest of Mexico is as normal as it was before Oaxaca.

Well, I hope the problems stay down south and time cools it off. I still make short runs into Mexico but just not with my buddies right now due to
all of the problems. I have another run down to baja in the middle of November and I plan to do it on my motorcycle for the first time. I know it
will be different than my truck but the urge to do it just makes me take the ride. Later----------------------------------Bajafun777
