Buffalo Bar-B-Q

We ate at this restaurant last night in La Paz. It's on Madero street, 1/2 block north of the plaza.

Begin edit:
I apologize-- I think I wrote the most boring review ever-- so I'm tryin' it again:

It really is a bar-b-q place with heavily mesquite smoked steaks, french fries, steamed veggies. Don liked his steak and fries, though he thought El Nido in Loreto to be better.

I chose two appetizers and a salad instead of an entree. The scallops were lightly grilled, very fresh and sweet, and seasoned with chile, ginger and sesame. They were excellent. The queso fundido de Oaxaca was served smothered with a very nice tomatilla salsa, heavy on the garlic and cilantro and was delicious with flour tortillas. The buffalo salad (contains no buffalo) had very fresh mixed greens, tomatoes, pickled beet slices and grated carrots. The alfalfa sprouts that the menu promised weren't there, not a problem for me.

The back patio looked very pleasant, but was filled so we sat inside. They have a long wine list, and the house chardonnay I ordered by the glass was nice. Prices were reasonable, service was good.

Has anyone else eaten there?
