R.V. Parks La Paz

Bajafun777 - 11-2-2006 at 07:43 AM

I am thinking about taking my 5th wheel down to La Paz and it is 37' looking for a good RV park. I was considering Muelege but after this last storm figured it would be a while before they get things up to the level it was before the storm. I can always back track after I stay in La Paz for a few months. I am thinking about driving down in later part of November next year. I know I will have to drive slower on these roads and be looking out at all times mainly for the big truckers (they are just like in the States the road is theirs). Need the park to be close to town or in town does not matter and full hook-ups. I will be about 8 months away from retiring and have been mainly in Rosarito area vacationing for the past 30 years and want to try the South Baja for less tourists. Retirement it must be nice full time do as you want each day!!!! Thanks-------------Bajafun777

I can vouch for Aquamarina. On the water, palm trees, closer to the Malecon, etc.

La Paz RV park, though, has ''pull-throughs'' and easier to get in and out of. No trees, and little privacy, but they have a pool.

Both are nice and La Paz RV is close enough to town. You can ride a bicycle to the Malecon through back streets.

Is the old Cactus RV park still operating in La Paz?...it has been a few years since we were there. Might be another choice for you.

The old El Cardon Trailer Park is now a gated community.

Thanks for the update, comitan. When did that happen? We have not driven that route for a long time.

We also stayed at the Aquamarina park, which was very nice for us. There is..or used to be!...another RV park on the highway just north of La Paz, but sorry to say, I can't remember that park's name.
