The wonderful, if sometimes very unkind, rains we had this early fall have left us with a beautiful, verdant, flowery countryside. As with all blessings, there is a downside; sneezing and itching are available now in super abundance.

I don't know this plant's name and can't find it on Google Images nor in my Baja plant guide. It may be one of the many types of ragweed. It is tall and thick and starting to dry out and broadcast pollen. It's an eye-watering, sneeze-inducing dandy.

Around three feet high in this image.

Anybody know the name?

I never thought I'd suffer hay fever so in the fall! My first trips to Baja were in the spring to get away from southern California pollen. The last month was sure a doozy down here. Seems like it is over for now down near the tip. Clear skies and a clear head. I did pay to have the weeds around the house cleared a while back. Money well spent on a job I would usually have done myself.
