Businesses and community groups in Tijuana are working with the Binational Policy Council to clean up Tijuana’s image by pushing a last call policy.

In an effort to change their image through physical improvements in Tijuana’s historic and tourist area, local bars will begin a last call policy. Alcohol sales at most establishments will cease by 2 am.

Supporters of the new policy say that 50 percent of fatal car crashes in Tijuana and 35 percent of serious injury accidents in Tijuana, involve alcohol.

Several of the businesses and supporters are advocating for an increase in alcohol-related law enforcement as well as alcohol-server training.

I wouldn't want all of the partiers dumped out at the same time. That's when all the trouble happens.

If you're not drunk by 2:00 am...you're not trying hard enough!
