Transportation from San Diego to TIJ airport

I'm finally building my house in La Paz - a lifelong dream. However, I'm finding that while flights from TJ are moderately cheaper ( Aeromexico now has a daily direct flight), I can't seem to find reasonable transporation to the airport from San Diego. The logistics are daunting. Do I park my car at TJ airport for two weeks at a time, or at a border parking lot and take a cab? Will my car be secure? Anyone know of reasonable cross-border shuttles? I speak Spanish so I can get around pretty well, but this has me stumped. Help! Any suggestions welcome.

Take the Greyhound bus.

Have a friend take you to the nearest Blue Line trolley stop. Take the trolley, walk across the border and get a white Taxi Libre for $10 to the airport. A real good friend could drive you to the border and drop you off and save some time. A fantastic friend could drive you to the airport via the Otay crossing. As Comitan says, there is a Greyhound bus that leaves from downtown San Diego (Broadway and 2nd), but it does have a schedule which may not coincide with yours; it also stops at the border crossing and sometimes there is a delay while baggage is checked, but it is very comfortable. I take the local bus two blocks from my house to the trolley stop, so I don't have to leave my car anywhere.

Hey, free from Bakersfield, Delano, Earlimart, Fresno, Goshen, Kingsburg, Los Angeles, McFarland, San Fernando, Santa Ana, San Ysidro, Selma, Tulare and Oxnard sounds pretty good to me . . .
