Beautiful photo V. Thank you! I have sat Zazen at the abbey there (no frying pans permitted). I also pass by there in the Summer on the way to Pt.Townsend Wa. for the jazz festival. Shasta is the real Magic Mountain!

Its a nice part of the planet. I'm especially proud to live in a little town with its own Zen mission. I have a long way to go, but I'm trudging up the scree slope toward "enlightenment".

Toneart, I copied down your #90 address yesterday. Are you there now? We'd drop by.

50 years ago, living with my parents, we camped a lot of remote places around the lake from a little 12' Chris Craft kit boat my father built. Haven't done it since!

Vgabndo,
No I am not in Mulege now. Was there in October and will be there again around New Years Day. If you are there after Jan. 1 or anytime during the rest of the winter or spring, come on by. It would be nice to meet you.
