A fairly high clearance is best. Front spoilers won't survive. There are a couple of huge rocks in the middle of the road during the last mile or so.
I'm surprised they have not been dug out by now, but then, it probably keeps out the 'riff raff'.

amen to that " M ", and actually those rocks are fun to try to avoid when driving a full side truck..That makes hard for unwanted people to make to
the canyon., is a good natural (rocks), speed bump.,
