BajaNomad

We're out of here in the morning.

vgabndo - 11-16-2006 at 03:36 PM

Vgabndo and faithful copilota will be on the road to Baja in the morning. We will likely cross at Tecate on the morning of the 20th. Arrive in San Nicolas on the 22nd. then if energy is still available will enjoy Thanksgiving with Comitan circa La Paz. If you see us along the way, make yourselves known, we'd love to chat with any Nomads.

This year we will look like this:

Nice rig, how did you attach pic?

vgabndo - 11-16-2006 at 04:25 PM

Dear feather thrower...

Your question has been answered many times. I'm not being rude, I just recommend that you search for attaching photos, and you'll get LOTS of good info.

Thanks for the compliment. I LOVE by Dodge Cummins turbo diesel.

Oh, I'll monitor CB 13 in Mexico.

Frigatebird - 11-16-2006 at 05:28 PM

Hey vgabndo, where's the landsailer? You'll be driving past Chapala, and Agua Amarga is a short jaunt down the BOLA road. Time to jibe south of the border. McGyver was right, Amarga is nice in places. Sailed both last spring. Next on the list: Laguna Seca north of Amarga and Estero Beach south of Ensenada. Just more Baja temptations. Enjoy your trip.

Good times on Chapala :yes::yes::yes:

Vie bien, Vgabndo!

Bajabus - 11-16-2006 at 05:47 PM

stay good sir. If you want some nice, safe private beach front land to stay on just below TS let me know. You can use our place. I'll be there around the 10th or so.

Hook - 11-16-2006 at 05:51 PM

Still a chance I might be driving by SN in December from 12/15-1/1. Will you still be there?

Have a safe trip.

vgabndo - 11-16-2006 at 05:58 PM

Frigatebird, I couldn't talk my SO into taking the Manta single.
 Another time.

Thanks Toneart...we'll try to check in at #90. We've got toys to drop off with Bruce.

Bajabus, We're going to be in your area the day after T'giving. I don't know if we'll be able to make it later, but would like to meet you sir.

Cap'n, We'll be in SN from about this 25th. until Jan 2. You know you're welcome.

bajajudy - 11-16-2006 at 06:26 PM

If you get this far south, stop in for a cold one.
Buen Viaje

Have a great trip Neighbor! Some friends from our beach last year headed out to San Nicolas for a few days and they said it was beautiful!
I sure hope we get to Baja this winter! ( I am starting to get Baja Fever)

vgabndo - 11-16-2006 at 07:45 PM

Hey KlamathGirl...

I sure hope you get to go too. We didn't make it last year for the first time in ten. Not good for my attitude. I'm TOO anxious to change latitude! Maybe we'll get to see you on the river or sometime when you're passing by here. Perry Sims and I'm ITB.

Bob and Susan - 11-16-2006 at 08:39 PM

Perry,

My riding partner and I will be in the 'hood around that time...I will look for that noisy truck  in SN when we ride through between Xmas and New Year's

My bike is orange, his is blue and yellow....we will be thirsty, willing to work for beer, and likely will pick your brain for other good areas to explore.

Have a safe trip down.

Thanks 'bus for the generous offer. We'll just be overnighting with friends in November. I'd really like to visit you in Dec. We have two sets of friends who are fairly new to the Todos Santos area. Two haven't built yet but bought property. Another couple bought a house. I can virtually guarantee you'll like them. We need to talk man.

I'll be checking my mail on every trip to Loreto. We'll talk later about your professional services!:P

Bob and Susan, I need landmarks to your BLVD. We'll be so near the end of our first 1400 miles that it is tough to stop, but I'll be back up that way during our stay.

Ged, I couldn't get the link to open. When you get out our way, we're easy to find. From the road on the mesa, before you head down into the arroyo you can see a big white roof top to the south. From that house we are 100 mtrs. west, the place with the concrete fence posts.

A simple request--- take a bit of my heart along on the ride with you and the lady.

vgabndo - 11-16-2006 at 09:55 PM

YOU GOT IT BERNIE!

Here's Fernando Murillo and the wheelbarrow you immortalized in your last book.

Thanks Corky, I'll plug that in along with the warning of the "new improved" pavement drop-offs south of G. Negro.

Ged, we'll be listening for thumpers. The welcome mat is out.

Peace love and 65 miles to Mc LuLu's! Well...1372 miles first.:P
