Back at ya Sharky! What an awesome day here in Loreto! We had the most wonderful turkey dinner and are planning to go out to Carmen tomorrow to do
some "beaching" (as in whales!). Coming home Sat, dang it!

Hey Deb! Thanks for the congrats. Just got home some 4 hrs. ago. She is awesome and beautiful! I'm so glad that I got to spend a whole three weeks
there with my precious Rachel. Even got some beach days in. Yesterday we spent the day sunning(about 80 in the sun) and swimming(72?) and watching all
the bat rays leaping out of the water. In that time frame of three hours, I saw huge Cabrilla, dozens of very large trumpetfish, Jack Cravalle around
20lbs. each, Sargent-Majors, and huge schools of sardinas,Frigats and ospreys,Sally Lightfoots,butterflies of all colors,puppies and kittens! We never
even left Puerto Escondido! (secret beach behind the internet cafe)Had lunch at Mexico Lindo,spent the last of my pesos and had a smooth trip home on
Aerocal. No lines, no checking of bags, and a car and driver waiting for me! And Rachel is coming up in two weeks! She smiled at me this mornig for
the first time and it was'nt gas! She is one darling Mexican_born baby. For those of you who don't want to hear about our families or newborn
children, why have you read this far? LOL!! Thanks Deb! E- me? I never got the one you sent after I left. Happy New Year!

Your post was full of all kinds of interesting information besides Rachel (and she is interesting to me). You told us the weather in Loreto and
Puerto Escondido....what kinds of fish are in close to shore.....water temps....about the lack of tourists and the gas situation in Loreto. Now that
is a lot of information for one post. We also know that you are sporting a new suntan---while we have been suffering up here in the cold. Finally you
told us Mexico Lindo is open at lunchtime (incidentally that is just down the street from our favorite resturant, McLulu's (NOT).

You guys are funny! Yeah, the fish are a jumpin and the town was LOADED with tourists!! Gringos outnumbered the locals like I have never seen! I'm
serious!I've never seen so many Gringos in Loreto in all my years. Not from a cruise ship either! They were all independent travelers, bikers,
campers, backpackers, whatever.Good for the commerce of the town! Also have some new info on the development at Puerto Escondido.They are in full
swing making moorings and slips there.From what I heard(heard,keep that in mind)The Escalera Natica has focused on the area between Puerto Escondido
and La Paz as the devolpment areas for their projects.Of course we will see, but they are actually "working" in Puerto Escondido. Well, I'm home now
and very tired. Back atcha Manana. Sal

Forgot to tell you, there is a new station being built between the airport and Noplo,or town. Not sure witch, but it is definatly being built .Land
cleared, digging almost underway.
