I'll tell you Baja hasn't been so full of events and activity that I can remember. So many changes both by our hand and Mother Natures'.
It humbles the unexpected unwilling nomad with myriad hurtles, obstacles and unanswered travel questions.
I like it. I like the fact that as tough place, tough people will tough it out. They know the rewards for their fruits will be great and not measured
in pesos. Their love for the place anchors their belief in the Mexican that their special place will always be special. I like it. They will never run
away. They will stay and fight. Honourable types..
Danger seems the order of the day. A constant supply of new worries (or are they) for us to gorge ourselves on.
What's next. 
Think of all the opportunities and like the wild west of yesteryear,news travels slower on the carrera.
We yearn much like the East Coast aristocrats did while folks were carving out the 1st wild west.
We want the news. We want the scoop. Don't forget those snapshots!
Then we gather our cyber wits and we solve all the nasty problems at hand.
No but we can join in the discussion and maybe learn something good. Who knows, one of us could be right......about somthing.... someday.
Hey, maybe even do something real to help.
Just like to say that my hat's off to all you wild west folks in Baja. Especially Shari and daughter Sirenita . You show much gumption, concern and
willingness. Now get the hell out!

I wish I could be of more real help. I plan on visiting Shari and Juan in January regardless of what the situation is.

that is the only to look at it Sharksbaja. if you are not the adventure type of person you should look for other destinations. and people that are
easily aggravated when things don't go exactly as they had planed should run in the other direction. but for the ones that like to go with the flow
and learn new things this is the place to be.

You really swerved into something this time. This place will test you. Just getting here and doing all the things necessary to stay here is no walk
in the park. Compared to a short swim across the Rio Grande it is a real struggle. Hurricane John I called "Baja with the Gout". Add going into
business down here and the struggle becomes epic but it's all worth it, it's all good in my view. I just feel very lucky I got here 12 years ago
while I had the strength to fight, the humor to persist, a youthfull, positive outlook about what every tomorrow might hold for me and mine. Seems
like everybody in this little village has that "never give up, never give in" attitude and that dares me to go on, try harder.
