Last I've heard from a few recent travelers is that the road is in normal condition; no problems from the rains.
If you have never travelled this road you should know that it is on the narrow side. More like many of the roads in Baja sur. It is a beautiful drive
and one we will always chose over TJ when possible.

I drove the road a couple of days ago. No problems.

This is also "wine country". Looks like several major winerys with tastings. We pulled off at a nice RV park along the way to break up the trip and
make an early run to the border. Good road but pretty busy with trucks etc. have fun!!

Drove it two days ago in on and off rain squalls, it was in great shape.
Be sure to stop at CorreCaminos for a meal, it is in San Antonio de las Minas, mid-way between Ensenada and the town in Guadalupe (a.k.a. Francisco
Zarko)
Just don't stop on Wednesday, like we did, all the cafes in town close on Wed. it seems,
not sure why?
