A White Baja Christmas

bajalou - 12-22-2006 at 01:53 PM

Tony, the guy that delivers water to me was by a few minutes ago and said there will be snow on the Sierra San Pedro Matir range tomorrow, "I know" he said.

Well, it's looking like he might be right - from a few clouds this morning to a lot more are blowing in now..

In 95-96-97 or so we had snow on Picacho del Diablo each year at this time. In early 96, (of 97) highway 3 to Ensenada was closed 3 days because of snow.

Guess we'll have to wait to sing "White Christmas"

Just returned from Anza Borrego this morning. We actually had light rain on the desert floor and heavy rain coming across the Tecate Divide. Temps were in the low 40s at 4000ft so I can imagine at higher elevations.
