Just spent over a week at Estero Beach Resort in our RV.
Clean, reliable electric, brackish water, amazing birding in the estuary, wonderful sunsets, some of the best Sushi I have ever eaten, and i have
eaten a lot.
Very secure, lots of security folks patroling. The tacos in the restaurant are wonderful.
The locals who live here are very friendly.
They have now built a pool and hot tub for the RVers and both are well maintained.
The rate is listed at $35/nite and is negotiable down to $25. Better to show up and negotiate at the entrance.
Happy New Year to the Nomads.

Great to share these findings... it is most appreciated. However, as it is not about hunting or fishing more people may utilize it if it is in this

Hey Iflyfish; next time you're in the area; look us up - you can park the rig at our place and you seem like you might be some fun! We are further
south of Estero; just a tad - go to Maneadero and take a right toward La Bufadora... we're just past La Jolla at Rancho Packard.

If this is true I am really going to be ticked. I WILL check it out.
First of all, I eat sushi two or three times a week, when in the states.
Second. I have lived part time in Cantu for the last three years, that is the little town you see when you look to the mountain from estero beach.
Third. I have searched high annnnnnnnnnnnnnd lowwwwwwwww for decent sushi in Ensenada, and came to the conclusion it does not exist.
Why didnt you tell me you were going to be in the area? You have friends there.
We are in Sonora now but will be in Cantu feb. 15 thru?
Nomads, let us know.bajaguy - 1-1-2007 at 10:23 PM

Sushi?
Bait on a plate.Iflyfish - 1-5-2007 at 11:21 AM
Tis true. Great sushi at Estero. Bait on a plate, I love it. So many varieties, too many marguiritas, you will have to sort out content yourselves. I
just know it didn't wiggle and it was wonderful. Sushi bar opens at 3pm, the fish is fresh on Thursdays.
Now having re read my post, it is clear that the RV was soaked and cleaned in the hot tub. The rig has never been happier. Me too.
Now in Guerro Negro and headed south.
Yesterday headed out to the old salt plant to view birds. Stopped the rig as a totally hypnotized three or four year old made eye contact with me and
made a bee line for the rig. Santa Claus is HERE!!! My white hair and beard was the clincher! I quicky retrieved some candy canes and the entire
family invited us over for fresh clams on the half shell with lime and salza....Heaven!!!!
Life is good in the sloooow lane. Off to Shari's and another slice of paradise.
