trying to figure out where to go thru Feb. I fell in love with Concepcion 15 years ago and other than Agua Verde (which I liked even better, but the
drive for supplies is a bit long) I haven't camped for long periods anywhere else.
Recomendations on beachs were I can kayak, fish, and possibly snorkle (if I'm reading the maps right the water looks warme north of Bola than south
of there, does that make sense?)
It doesn't matter how far south, but I like the Sea of Cortez side I just looked at an airial photo of Cabo Pulmo, it doesn't look like there's
camping there any more - it has sure changed since 1986.
There is still free camping in Cabo Pulmo.

We were just there this summer at El Arbolito. The water is nice and warm, but much of the corals have been decimated. You also may have to deal
with camping in close with other people, some of whom are yahoos from Cabo who stay up drinking and getting crazy all night long. February might be a
great time to go to avoid that kind of thing though, as Mexicans don't generally camp during the cooler months. You might just have the whole beach

We settled at Bahia de Concepcion because of the reasons you are looking for. Outstanding places.
The water and air is cold just about everywhere in the winter....at least for us. Lots of people come from Canada....I guess they think it's warm 
We've stayed from San Felipe to the Bay of LA in the winter to check. All were too cold.

Try Playa Buenaventura!!! It is right before Requeson. Olivia and Mark are great host. Lots of clams, great snorkeling,Kayaking. They have shower and
restrooms.

I'm familiar with the beaches of concepcion, I usually stay at Escondido (That's the one mention that is south of santispac and secluded) the last
few times it has been in approars over ownership with different people try to collect camping fees and no one taking care of the place. If any of you
are around Concepcion now maybe you could fill me in on current conditions at Escondido and Coyote?
I ended at Coyote last year and the year before, and had alot of fun with the retired canadians (a lot more polite with their generators than
Santispac)
I'm sure I'll end up at Concepcion but thought I'd try something different.

I too love agua verde but understand the isolation from supplies, you can do some good snorkling and diving on the islands off loreto. plenty of
pangas to take you where you need to go, and also close to verde for an overnighter. however the waters gunna be cool until april..... bring a
wetsuit.
