Hello all,
I am heading down to San Lucas Cove this coming Friday and I was wondering if anyone can give me the current situation at the Tijuana border
crossing and toll road to Ensenada. I hear that the crossing at Tecate is much more easier to cross (I am contemplating on taking this route this
time). Thanks.

there is no "situation". all is about the same as it ever was.

I crossed at Tijuana yesterday morning at 6:00 a.m. There was no traffic and the red and green lights were not on. One lane was open and it was the
honor system for those who wanted to declare. I did not stop and was through Ensenada headed south by 7:30. At Guerroro Negro at around 3:00 p.m.
there was nobody manning the border. Between TJ and Loreto there were 4 or 5 military checkpoints. At some I was asked where was my destination, at
some I was waved on through. Never was the covered bed of my pick-up checked.
