Nobody at San Ysidro Friday 6am. Military checkpoint at the top of the hill leaving town waved me through. Another one at the first toll booth
who questioned me.
All vehicles searched going South Hgwy 1just before El Rosario.
Little traffic through to Loreto. Very windy and very cold to Loreto with same forecasted all week. Not just windy but high winds, comparatively
speaking. High winds, to me, mean 100+ mph like I had in Colorado a week ago. I mean, sustained high winds for 36 hours. Oye. Really was not
fun. That's Hurricane Level 2 I heard.

Here's a plug for Las Cabanas in Loreto. Rooms just as nice as Baja Cactus in El Rosario, plus kitchenette, pool, hot tub, off the Malecon.
First class.
Oh, and it rainned almost to GN. Not bad.
Hgwy 1 in good shape.
