Dropshot upload program

vandenberg - 1-17-2007 at 08:42 AM

I downloaded the free dropshot program. First ,after right clicking on a pic, I,with windows, downsized the pic to below the 50KB, and then dropped it in the drop box to upload it. From there I'm at a loss at how to attach it to my message. Can it be done that way and if "yes" please walk me through the process step by step if possible.
Any answer will be appreciated.

Once the photo is in the proper format and correct size on your computer, when you're posting a reply or opening a topic, the "attachment" line is at the bottom just above the "Post Reply/Preview Post" tabs. Click on <Browse>, locate the photo and click on it. The path will appear in the blank box.

If the (under 50 kb) photo is saved in your PC files, then you attach it to a Nomad post with the BROWSE button... (not available with 'Quick Reply')... See it just below where you type in New Topic or Post Reply...

If the photo is on a website already, then it doesn't need to be reduced and it's URL (http://... ) is attached with the photo hot link button, above where you type in a message here... The button looks like a landscape photo...
To get the URL of a photo on another web page, right click on the photo and click 'properties' in the pop up box... the URL will be in the next pop up... copy it with your mouse then paste it in the space provided when you click on that landscape button.

Keep trying... everyone loves photos!

Beautiful Pictures, Thanks for sharing,k:yes:

Keri,
Ended up getting an U2U from Osprey, telling me how to post without an upload program. So I didn't use Dropshot at all.. But that's what it's called and you can download it free on www.dropshots.com
It's fun to play with.

Farasha
It's on the very end of the malecon ,on the way to Pichilingue ,where the road turns into 4 lanes. About 200 yds on the right.

I see - looks new - can't recall to have seen it, couple years ago, on my last visit.
Might be an option next time around. THANx.

I need practice too..

Hope you don't mind if I tinker with this thread....I am a newbie and haven't posted a pic yet either (don't have any of baja yet!!!) so I thought I would at least get the technical difficulties out of the way.

This one should be too big (according to the 50kb guidance above). It is 1.3mb off my PC.

Yep, ok here is the 50kb one.
