Judy, I think you answered your own question.
After a few days of cold and clouds here in Loreto, the rain was a welcome change, and everything is clean, fresh and shiny now. The sunset was
beautiful this evening, still some cloud cover up high, but pink skies all around, and sunlight on the tops of the palms. It looks like a promise of
sunshine tomorrow.
I'm hoping for a week of blue sky as I head out Sunday to ride back to the cave paintings at San Francisquito. I can hardly believe I'm finally going
to see them!
Edit: Actually we are going into the Sierra de San Franancisco. Good thing I'm not the leader, or we might be seeing underwater cave art!

This border grass has always facinated me. It only blooms when it rains....now how does it know that it is rain water not faucet water?

Bajajudy--I've wondered about the difference between faucet water and rain too--I think part of it is that rain water soaks the ground for a longer
period, as opposed to a quick dousing from the tap; also rainwater has dissolved nitrogen in it(from lightning causes in the clouds, I think). I

Rainwater has a much higher content of nitrogen as well as phosphorous and potassium. It is just your general NPK fertilizer with the right
