Jesse,
It is doubtful that a 1 meter dish will do you much good for TV in La Paz.
DirecTV is just about kaput for us down here, and Dish Network requires a larger dish.

Hey villadelfin, thanks for the nod.
Jesse, thanks for contacting me. I hope you got the info I sent.
A 1 meter dish will play here on Dish Network but it's not for the purist. I can get it to play on my system here in Todos Santos, but I'm willing to
put up with some channel dropouts now and then.
The Dish Network 119º satellite is known for having a problem with smaller antennas in the morning hours at this end of Baja. Some channels on the
weaker transponders won't come in until the afternoon. This is due to a slight "wobble" in the satellite's orbit that swings it's antennas slightly
North every morning. Won't see it in the US but you do here. If it doesn't affect "your favorite channels" then it's no big deal.
I will say the signal in the East Cape tends to be just a little stronger than in TS by a few clicks. A 1.2 Andrew plays really well in Los Barriles.
Hey Wayne, How you doin' up there?
