I need to get a new wide-angle lens for my camera.
The sunsets and sunrises are just too wide to do them justice without a wider angle. It's tough choosing which section of the glorious sky is more deserving.....

Yesterday was another windy day. Totally unexpected as t h e y didn't forcast any wind. I'm still waiting for calm enoughh day to take the 14' tin boat out; maybe this morning ?

In the "any reason for a party" catagory, last night was the annual 100th day of school party (for those who are here and not home in school but "home-schooling" at the beach.
Pot luck, fireworks, bonfires and flaming hool-a-hoops !! So much fun, we stayed up past 9 !!

Temps are supposed to reach 80 degrees here today and tomorrow, nothing but sun !
The next week at home looks like 36 and 22 for the highs and lows; gotta love it !!

Less than a week until Baja. Can't wait to join you. It's -5 and sunny here in Iowa.

Today was wind-less, so we got out in the tin boat.
1/2 hour of trolling in the totally wrong place, on the way to site see, we hooked a small Sierra anyway. Not bad for site-seeing !

Our daughter went horseback riding for the second time since we're here.
(Yes, she stayed on this time, Shari)
The little man made the little boat his playground and tied ropes (er, lines) everywhere.
A stop along the beach at a friend's property found them playing guitars and praying to the wind gods. Their place is in a garden of huge, old cactus and shrubs that are green and flowering this year. Their piece of paradise....feels nice...
Lots of campers reading lots of books after the no-wind volleyball tournament and a few morning bike rides. Probably no wind again tomorrow so I'll be out fishing early.
