Anybody have FIRSTHAND experience with FTA Satellite TV ? Seems like there are lots of odds and ends that would be worth watching and the Hardware
price of under $300 isn't bad, but with the choices spread out over a number of satellites, it looks like you'd need a tracker system OR spend a lot
of time aligning.
????
OK, I see that the deluxe systems offered are "Motorized".
Anybody have one ?

We have about 5 or 6 systems in San Lucas Cove and The Ejido San Lucas and the people are loving life. There seems to have been a problem in the last
couple of weeks where there have been new downloads sent over the computer, but everyone seems to be up in 15 minutes or so of going down. None of
them use a tracker system but they do align as soon as they park their RV, but then they do not change the position. I think one of the guys said he
is getting 230 stations off of the satellite and he does not change his position. I am sure that Los Frailes knows the answer to this question.

FTA, (OK hacked kind) using a Viewsat Ultra Receiver is a very good way to receive Dish Network.
I am way south and it takes a 1.2 meter dish, (1.8 is my personal choice), I am able to hook up to the 119 bird only because the spot beams of the 110
do not reach here. I am at this moment able to watch any of over 230 channels of TV plus over 130 channels of Music.
Recent key changes have caused minor problems, problems that have been solved almost immediately and that are available on the internet for the user.
The correction routine is very simple and quick.
Further north and/or east it is possible to also get the 110 satellite and receive all the PPV movies and sports. Pointing a second LNB attached to
the same dish is not rocket science, but is a bit more difficult. I do not know if the Dish Network antennas that support 2 or even 3 LNB's work with
FTA.
