We finally opted to nstall shade cloth on the roof top Palapa to keep the birds out. It works Great!! Thanks again to all that offered advice. By the
way, reported winds in the bay were in the 60 Mph range and the Palapa didn't blow away and we didnt lose any shingles (well...Only 1/2 of one on the
corner)
A few pictures for your perusal.

We're still pounding nails and making slow progress. The last trip we built/assembled the kitchen cabinets, bought a bazillion pieces of Mexican tile
in TJ. We'll get them installed the next trip, I hope.

We put the hot water heater in the laundry room, had the floor tiles installed in the kitchen, bath and laundry.

Installed the shower controls and head. Got the drains run to the outside. I'm hoping to use the shower and sink water, for a planter/herb garden,
around the front of the kitchen. (sorry the pics are a little abstract, I didn't take them
DW is the guilty party.

that's the sink we want but having to buy several i think i buy them at the enseanda home depot...they had a pallet full
these sinks are a little more bumpy (what people think is fancy) there but if i can't find yours they'll do
what are you doing abot the splash area right behing the faucets?
where is this house?
your pictures only show a garage with that outstanding deck
Very nice place

Hi Bob,
That's a Home Depot (Ensenada) sink. I didn't notice any "Bumpy" ones. Of course, What do I know about sinks?? Nuttin. Hmm?? Back splash for the bath
sink...?? I have no idea!! I'll have to ask DW what she wants!! We did use Gloss paint in the bath and kitchen and I HOPE it will just wipe down real
easy.
In the kitchen, We still haven't installed the counter top or the tile. The Backsplash is tile to match the counter top. DW (Darlin Wife), Abraham and
I spent a whole day in TJ shopping for the tile. LOTS of tile stores and the prices were very good compared to the states (or so DW says, me? I dunnno
:?
It's a bit of a stretch to call it a "house", more like a large patio with rooms, about 20 x 70 with the 20 x 20 kitchen, bathroom and laundry/utility
room at one end. 30 x 20 ramada in the middle and a (soon to be built) 20 x 20 bedroom at the other end.
We pull the motor home along the back side of the patio and have the door open under the Ramada. Eventually we will build walls enclosing the Ramada
and divide the interior into living rooms.
Here's a couple of pictures to show more detail. The one that shows the Kit and Bath doors had to be "Stitched" together from two pictures.

wow thats outstanding
nice idea...
we just redid the tile at my sisters here in upland and used a similur type
those BIG tiles are the "new" style
very "today"
this wed when i pass the home depot, i guess i'll have to look closer for the sinks...my guy wants an example this week
i wonder if i can get my truck "watched" again

i just paid $25 here
home depot had an endcap full of pedestal sinks but they were the kind that people think are "more fancy" (bumpy)
your stand and sink will be way easier to clean later (dust and sand)
pretty soon you'll be able to trade the fuel burning motorhome for a BIG trailer and just leave it there...then...
you can join the "BIG boat club"
leave room!!!
