Just got back from Cabo for a few days of work and must tell you to go to MIGUEL LOCO RESTAURANT located across the plaza on Calle Miguel Hidalgo. The food was fantastic and the atomosphere was just as good............................The prices are also reasonable. Best food in Cabo. Try it

Well for sure Bob and Susan, but would you agree that your surroundings do contribute to (or take away from) your dining experience!?I've had some pretty good food that was, well, not so much enjoyable because of the service, ambience or other factors.IMHO, good atmosphere enhances the enjoyment of a well cooked meal, with music(mariachis?) por favor!Oh and lets Not forget the Margis, made the "real" way!! Just one more surgery and I am Baja bound!! (gotta write the name of that place down)

Sally,

They have a selection of steaks and great seafood. Mesquite bar b que is located in the center of the restaurant and yes Sally, atmosphere is very important. Im glad you agree. In my work I travel all over the world and have eaten at some of the best rated restaurants and once I'm there I find myself at a loss for words when it comes to the location or feel very uncomfortable in the surroundings. Music so loud you cant think or dirty. I have even been to restaurants where the bathrooms are so unkept I'd rather use a tree on the street.

Sure, you can't eat the atmosphere but it is just as important as the food.

The restaurant's correct name is Miguelocos at KM 0 downtown Cabo SL across from the plaza on Calle Miguel Hidalgo.

When you go there please send me a u2u and let me know what you think. I know you won't be dissapointed. The prices are excellent as well.

Live music after 9.

Food, Presentation, Ambiance, Service, Value - All equal links in a chain. A weakness in any one of these things will detract from the overall dining experience.

Ensuring this is what prevents "qualifiers" when someone is recommending your Restaurant, as in "This place was fantastic, but....
