Childress and Honda of North Hollywood – A Team
Baja champion Mike Childress and Bill Robertson, owner of Honda of North Hollywood, have joined forces for 2007. Robertson and Childress’
relationship dates back to the mid-90s when Childress began his motorcycle-racing career. Robertson saw a bright future in the young, enthusiastic
teenager and supported Childress through the amateur ranks, leading him to factory rides with Kawasaki and Honda, where he earned several
championships and major wins, including last year’s SCORE Tecate “Baja 1000” run to La Paz and the recent Best In The Desert “Parker 250”.
Besides sponsorships and business interests, Robertson and Childress both possess a passion for off-road racing and have competed in several desert
events in Robertson’s V8-powered Class 1 Penhall race car.
Childress, Robertson, and Honda of North Hollywood (a dealer for Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW, and SeaDoo, in addition to Honda) are thrilled to
combine their considerable resources to compete against the factory teams, with Childress scheduled to ride a specially-prepared CRF450X in major
events such as the Adelanto Grand Prix later this month and the SCORE Tecate San Felipe 250 in Baja in early March.
Other supporting sponsors are Al Baker’s XR’s ONLY, O’Neal, IMS, GPR, BRP, Gaerne, Renthal, Scott, Arai, Precision Concepts, Checkers, Asterisk,
Fluidyne, SDR, Pro-Comm, and Winner’s Edge.

It should be a great show in class 22. A lot of excellent racers.Chris B/Dave P.,Robby B, Mike C, What about Steve Hengeveld ? I don't see his name on
the entry list. I thought his arm was going to be OK by the SF250. Good luck to DP racing. Joe and Jesse. These guys are awesome on and off the track.
Like Minnow mentioned DP will be racing 2 bikes in class 22.
I'll be racing in Class 21, 106X with Chris Parker. I hope the weather is not as cold as the Pacificos like last year...Good luck to all racers and
chasers, let's remember to be safe and pick up all our trash..
See ya in SF,
Paul
