My great little reducing program won't work on my newer computer, so I've just got a free acct with Fliker and upload the programs, then link to the thread - much easier and not limited to one picture per post. PhotoBucket or Kodal EasyShare work OK too.

Judging by the plants it looks to be somewhere in the Sierra SPM or Juarez foothills--Live Oaks, Red Shanks, Yucca....reminds me of the terrain on some of the side roads off the road into Mike's Sky Ranch and over into Melings...

I am sure Doug or another PC guru can explain it, but we see a box with a red x next to the photo name or later a link to a photo (but it too is blank).

I am guessing the web site you are storing your photos on does not allow hot linking the pictures to Baja Nomad.

How about using Browse to post from your files (if under 50 kb)???

I log out to see what happen to my pictures.This pictures I got it from somebody's website I save them in my files but when triying to post them they don't show they era under 50kb's don't know what just happen guys sorryy

You may have just gotten a shortcut (link) to the photos, and not the photos themselves. Since the links are on your computer, you can't upload the actual pictures.

I don't understand. Late last year (12-06) I spent many hours writing and piecing together my latest Baja trip report with photos and tons of details. After a few weeks my post had received a dozen replies, all positive and filled with praise (thank you very much to all 12 of you).

Maybe I forgot the KISS rule? - Keep It Simple Stupid

All fun I guess.

And it happen with a stupid thread, there is enough love for everbody in Bajanomad Bajadog.I felt so Bad hafter what happen with this thread,that today saturday 03/03/07 Me and two buddies drove to Laguna Hanson and found Rancho San luis the subject of this thread and I took new pictures my self because the ones that I post it they were from 1985.New trip report will come by tomorrow with details and pictures that you can see..I will be waithing for your 12 post, don't be shy :lol:
