Has anyone stayed or eaten at this place in the Guadalupe Valley? Comments? Same questions for Adobe Guadalupe.

I think tripadvisor had some reviews - which were excellent. Had to change the name for legal reasons. Adobe Guadalupe is fantastic; pricey, but if
you're going to eat at Laja you can afford Adobe (and would want to stay there). Either place is a sure bet.

Must have been 20 people waiting to get into Mustafa's last Sunday !
And at least 30 cars out front !

Friends of ours had a family reunion of sorts at Adobe around the Thanksgiving holiday. They rented the whole place and did not want to leave.
The Reader in San Diego just had an article about Valle and the husband/wife team that own it. Halfway thru I wanted to head down there.
I think either way you would be in for a treat, and LAJA is not to be missed, it IS one of our top five favorite dining experiences in the
world.......so far.

We'll be staying one night at each place on a weekend in May (couldn't get two nights in a row at La Villa). Problem is, we're only down for two
nights, i.e., two dinners. As a result, we have to pick two from Laja, the Adobe, and La Villa. Laja (haven't been there yet but have read the
reviews) is an obvious choice, but I'm stuck on whether to have the second dinner at the Adobe or La Villa. What would you do? (I know, if this is
the toughest decision I ever have to make, life's not so bad).
BTW EGL, nice Spiderman avatar, but what the heck is he doing?

Dine where you are staying that night (other than the Laja night, of course); they you can enjoy the wine and not worry about driving!

Ditto. Adobe serves some outstanding wines. If you tried them all, you'd be blotto, but pleasantly so.
