A good buddy of mine is selling his boat up here in SoCal.
For someone who lives close to a marina or launchramp in Baja or the mainland, this is a pretty nice package. Imagine having the range of a virtually
new Volvo diesel, sleeping quarters for 3-4 (not counting on the FLUSH deck), fridge, micro, flybridge, up-to-date electronics, TWO steering stations
AND a new head with macerator and holding tank (or discharge).
Someone out there is gonna be retiring soon and this would be a great boat for gunkholing about the Sea of C. You talk about cheap to operate? Oh
yeah!
Ladies and gentlemen, I submit to you that a newer boat with these capabilities will cost you FOUR TIMES WHAT THIS BOAT CAN BE HAD FOR. And you would
still not get fiberglass as thick as this older hull has. This is the Volvo 41 P engine, not one of those turbo-stereoided 42-44 series engines that
wont last. Duo-prop, naturally.
This boat sounds like it's 30+ feet, right? Nope. This boat is trailerable!

What will your internal fuel tankage be? What's the overall length? And how will you be powering it?

It will be 23 ft long, fuel tank 73 gallons. Storage in front, but I'll probably use one of those big insulated bags for fish. Center console, bait
tank, T-top, bow rails.
Power will be 115 HP outboard. We haven't picked yet, choices are Yamaha and Mercury 4 strokes, which have Loreto service guys, and Evinrude E-tech,

Wow, Tomas, very observant! The second steering wheel photo is obviously another boat, for sure, as there is no c-ckpit enclosed in that shot. I
never even noticed it.
Although, there could be another steering wheel located high above in the open area above the enclosed c-ckpit.

The steering stations are all on the same boat, guys. It's not a cosmetic wheel for the purposes of the photo. It works!
It's either an all hydraulic steering system or maybe a hynautic one. It's not like ONE LONG STEERING COLUMN or something. He's able to use the
autopilot that attaches to the steering column itself and it has a wireless remote. Sweet!
Not uncommon at all.
Personally, I think his nmpg estimate is a little low and probably a combination of running it above cruise (not WOT, though) and at cruise. If
someone keeps this at cruise or slightly below at all times, I think 3 nmpg is very possible. I have gotten that at times with my boat that is
heavier, longer, and has a deeper vee. Also an engine with 1800 hours. He also runs it in the Pacific where there is always wind and always waves.
Jerry, his deadrise at the transom doesnt look to be more than maybe 14 degrees, possibly less. Looks like a 20 inch shaft to me.
