What time?

Bomberro - 3-2-2007 at 06:30 AM

The link to the time is very hard to read, about what time for Baja?

woody with a view - 3-2-2007 at 06:33 AM

good ? the moon has been visible in the daylight hours this week so probably shortly after sunset.

Mexitron - 3-2-2007 at 08:18 AM

Try this link for a clearer diagram of the viewing areas:

When the link is expanded it is easier to read.
It will occur at Moonrise in the US and Baja, +/- 6:00pm.
It will not be a total eclipse here though :( and it will probably be over by 10-11pm

Well, that's one advantage for living in Texas--nice flat horizon and better viewing times!

Drop dead gorgeous (almost) full moon tonite at sunset.

Tomorrow night at sunset will be a real winner...

From my front porch the moon rises over the peaks of Yosemite, just 60 miles away, and those peaks were in glorious view all day today..

Cactus is nice, but Yosemite is nicer...

nobaddays - 3-2-2007 at 10:10 PM

I am going to ride the tram above Palm Springs

capt. mike - 3-3-2007 at 06:21 AM

woody with a view - 3-3-2007 at 06:51 PM

bajalou - 3-3-2007 at 07:26 PM

Didn't look till about 5:45 but looked round to me here in San Felipe

woody with a view - 3-3-2007 at 07:49 PM

just saw on the news it won't be the kind of full eclipse with a "bite" outta the moon. it will be the "other" kind of full eclipse that only casts a amber glow upon the moon.:?::?::?:

LAME....

OK, is this a mordida thing?

Dave - 3-3-2007 at 07:58 PM

Just checked and the moon is a bright, shining, round orb.

When is this supposed to happen?

I know......maņana

bajaguy - 3-3-2007 at 08:49 PM

Dang.....it's still round as a golf ball here in Carson City.

Skeet/Loreto - 3-4-2007 at 08:38 AM

BCSTech - 3-4-2007 at 08:40 AM

THAT was a big NO SHOW!

djh - 3-4-2007 at 09:03 AM

Sorry you guys missed out.
It was a PERFECT total lunar eclipse here in N. Idaho...

...

...

the snow and snow clouds TOTALLY eclipsed the full moon, and we couldn't even see that "amber glow" thaaang.

Baja Humbug !

In San Diego County it was round (ie. no eclipse noticed) from 6-10pm when I checked.

aliibike - 3-4-2007 at 09:57 AM

By the time the moon rose in Baja or California the show was over! I went out and looked anyway. You had to be further East.

Mexitron - 3-4-2007 at 10:17 AM

We had a nice show in Fort Worth...went down the street to the Amon Carter Museum promontory...

Nice shot Mexitron. Was camped at the Desert RV Park in Catavina due to a trememdous wind storm and looked out several times during the night but to no avail. Guess you're the luck one. Must have been a fabulous view. Again, nice shot.
