Thanks DENNIS and Paulina. These little guys sure do. BTW, except for the last one, these were all photographed on the little reef right in front of
Hotel Punta Pescadero.

More awesome stuff Ken!
Was that last shot a night dive in the Sea of Cortez or just a teaser?
I looked at an underwater housing for my Rebel XT, inspired by your photos. ¡Gracias!Ken Bondy - 3-2-2007 at 09:54 PM
Thanks bajadogs. No, the jellyfish was during the day in open water, small aperture makes a black background. Good luck with the housing/Rebel XT.Cypress - 3-3-2007 at 06:56 AM

Ha! Thanks Bob and Susan. Since I started using digital equipment exclusively (about 3 years now) I have been pretty meticulous about backing up.
But in the 30 or so years before that I accumulated about 10,000 slides and I have always threatened that when I am too old to dive any more I would
sort through them and scan the ones I want. That process has kinda started, at least part time . I can still function reasonably well underwater . Actually this set was scanned from slides I made in Baja about ten years ago.Acuity - 3-3-2007 at 08:13 AM
Your photos are consistently amazing! Thanks for sharing them.

Good Morning Ken....
And what a great day it is! I awoke to sunrise in Ensenada, saw your incredible photo of that jelly, thought it was moonrise all over again.
You just keep on posting photos and I'll just keep on admiring them.... we got a deal? Again, thank you.

Stunning! Absolutely stunning! In particular, I love the fourth shot that obviously shows the little critter staring you down. And the color of the
rings of the eyes are so artistic looking.
Bob H
PS: I hope you enjoy the puro samples from Thompsons.

Thanks Bob H, they are amazing little critters, I like the eyes also. They are only about an inch and a half long. Looking forward to the puros!!SDRonni - 3-3-2007 at 04:28 PM

Ken, thanks for the great photos!Skipjack Joe - 3-4-2007 at 06:45 AM
Wonderful pictures Ken.
It's 5:30AM here and I'm looking at that jellyfish in the darkness of the room. It just glows in the dark. Far more so than when I looked at it
earlier in the evening.
We'll be heading for the monterrey bay aquarium in about 4 hours where I'll press my camera against the glass wall in a vain attempt to match your
image.
