We would love to bid on a couple of sit on kayaks and paddles...how can I do this? Do they have an email address?gracias

tim40 - 3-10-2007 at 07:01 PM

Do they own the property? Do you know the plans for it are?

aquaholic - 3-11-2007 at 08:07 AM

...as of today, the property is still listed on Bajaquest.com, under Mulege real estate. Roy is asking $2.2 million; that's $8.80 per square foot...

Hope he/she receive their price, but for that size of property, I think they are a bit over market?

Packoderm - 3-11-2007 at 07:48 PM

Maybe all of us Nomads aught to chip in on this property as a group. We could have some luxury beachfront cabanas for rent built up front to recoup some of the investment and pay for maintenance and security, and subdivide the remaining non-beachfront area between each of us investors via lottery to decide who gets which lot. The restaurant can serve to accommodate the tourists and also serve as the clubhouse for the investors. I could live with about 600 sq. feet of land @ $8.20 a shot plus my share of the beachfront @ $8.20 per sq. as well. What would the rent on the property be even if the $2.2 million is paid?

Bob and Susan - 3-11-2007 at 08:40 PM

50 people @ $44,000 each buys it:light:

imagine getting 50 people to get along?

David K - 3-11-2007 at 09:10 PM

3,000 Nomads... we ought to be able to find 100 folks at 22,000 each, no? Can we form an ejido? Or time share it !

Doug, call your Mexican attorney!:light::lol:

2.5 hectares = 269,097.5 sq. feet.

Dived by 200 Nomads = 1345.49 sq. feet apiece @ $11,000 per average lot.

200 trailers squeezed into a prized piece of Baja paradise = Maybe it won't be paradise anymore.

David K - 3-11-2007 at 09:55 PM

That's why it needs to be a time share... You can fit 12 people per lot if they get one month on it per year! More, if less time!

See how these time share'ers do it?:fire:

If I could somehow be a part of 15 investors each paying $146,666.67 apiece, I could have a pretty nice beachfront spread with room in back for whatnot. But I really don't trust any real estate deal in Mexico. You'd have to be rich enough to laugh off the 150 grand if some moneyed Mexican entity decided it wants the property and gets it. I don't know if paying for real estate really entitles you to anything.

capt. mike - 3-12-2007 at 06:27 AM

what a joke.

Bob and Susan - 3-12-2007 at 06:59 AM

have you EVER heard of emanate domain in the USA:light:

jimgrms - 3-12-2007 at 07:08 AM

You guys sound like the lady from colonet that was trying to sell a share of her scam a while back,, except its not a bad idea

tim40 - 3-12-2007 at 08:36 AM

My 'toe math' shows that we need between 25-40 folks to purchase an equal interest. My belief is the price being asked is the desired price and above what would be accepted. A great location.... Now that would be a statement...Baja Nomads Join Together and Put Money Where Their Heart's Are....

We only need 24 to 39 more.

Okay so Shari how much is prime rock and roll beachfront property going for in up and coming Asuncion? Maybe
we can all get together and for perhaps less $ get a nice setup going. Does VagabundoS Del Mar have somekind of trailerpark thing in CaBO?

Like that one except most of the developments we see in Baja are too squeezed together----we like space!

Be careful dealing with Mulege Real Estate. Very Flaky!
