well...........where ya gonna land? no strip there buddy. closest is Cadaje and it is closed except for aeromedicos 2nd weekend of each month.
unless someting new has changed and that could be but i think it would have been all over the BBP if so.

Just a quick chime in. Was at San Juanico yesterday, dense, I mean dense, fog until about 10 am.

there's no nearby weather station to san juanico so be very suspect any forecasts or specific weather conditions unless they are on the ground.

A little off, but around the topic. The north road through the salt flats, for some strange reason, had it's long flat strips dug up with small
trenches running perpendicular through the road every 15 to 20 yards or so. This trenching was done by the military. The trenches were only about 8
inches wide and deep and about 10 to 15 feet long across the long packed down saltflat straight aways. I thought they might be there to stop
unauthorized landing. Then I drove across a few of them instead of taking a road around and I hardly even felt the trenches. I thought "these

yes, those trenches are specifically to prohibit landings of light AC.
trust me, hitting one on rollout or touch down will ruin your day and wreck your plane.
