I live in Loreto and am planning trips to San Ignacio to see the whales when my kids come down over Spring breaks in February and March. Does anybody
have recommendations on hotels and pangueros in San Ignacio?

Steve......Sounds like one stop shopping at Rice and Beans. Do you know how much they charge for rooms and the trips?
I would like to know also!

I am headed to Loreto next week and will be there for who knows how long?! I was also wondering about the showing of the Whales. Would love to make
the journey and get a thrill of my old lifetime! I will keep checking on the replies to your post, just in case someone has the current update!
Thanks, Sally

You can stay at the Laguna in really nice cabins. Great food service and always a whale to see.

The rooms are $45 per night......huge rooms by Baja (or Motel 6) standards.....water pressure to kill for......great food.....and, if in a pinch you
can even buy a new rig at 2am (another story) Ricardo (owner) will radio ahead for you to what I'll bet is the best Whale trip ever imagined! (say
"yes" to lunch)......and they stow broken down rigs, LOL.....sorry (you know who)

The guy from TJ in the room next to ours was the clincher. I suspect he was working with the seller of Vaca Blanca. He has a 1.75 ml bottle of
Johnny Walker Black, the first I've ever seen. He poured liberally into our cups and drove a Suburban himself which he touted. Regardless, I love
everrything about the vehicle except the turning radius and the 10 MPG burn rate.
Now we're hitting the Internet for a used or rebuilt Isuzu Trooper engine. 1998 3.5 litre D block. Any ideas?????
Deb: go back to sleep. It's too early for you. And fix your hair. I need a doo too.
Mike......you "wish" that guy with the whiskey

was part of the Vaca Blanca deal......us silly gooses! Not to worry, I've got your back Putz! Per my promise, I have a lookout for your
engine...I'll "e" you as soon as I have a word.
PS: Mike......please, next time (OIL WOULD BE A GOOD PLAN)
