Any idea how old it is?

Cypress, you got me curious so
1. I took the scientific approach to find the age of the tree. I first saw the tree when I arrived here about 12 years ago so it's at least 12 years
old.
2. Next I looked it up. There's not much data since one has to kill the tree to measure its age. One article gave the age of a large strangler fig
at 2,000 to 3,000 years -- the article was about mysticism so I wouldn't bet big money on it.
